WWE Releases Unaired Footage Of Matt Hardy Following Randy Orton's Brutal Attack On RAW

This week's RAW kicked off with Randy Orton decimating Matt Hardy with a steel chair, and WWE has now released some unseen footage of the aftermath as he was stretchered out of the arena. Check it out...

After being brutally attacked by Randy Orton during last week's RAW, Matt Hardy wasn't cleared to compete in their "No Holds Barred" match last night. However, he still confronted The Viper, and ended up being taken out with blows to the head and neck from a steel chair twice on the steel steps.

Now, WWE has shared "unseen" footage from the commercial break showing Hardy being stretchered out of the arena. This definitely feels like it was the company's way of writing Hardy off television once and for all (burying him in the process).

It's thought that the former RAW Tag Team Champion is going to leave WWE in the coming weeks and that he's planning to debut in All Elite Wrestling shortly after. There's no denying that it's a shame his WWE career has ended like this, but here's hoping he finds more luck elsewhere moving forward.
