WWE Reportedly Has A Big Match Planned For Batista At This Year's WRESTLEMANIA

Dave Bautista made his WWE return at SmackDown 1000 but is he still pencilled in for a match at WrestleMania? Apparently so, and you can find everything we know so far about that after the jump...

Triple H's pec injury at Crown Jewel means that he will probably miss WrestleMania and that leaves a gaping hole in the show's card. While it was initially reported that we would see The Game take on Batista, that's not going to happen now, and a number of outlets are today reporting that WWE is still in talks with the Guardians of the Galaxy star to take part in a "major match" at the upcoming show.

While the wrestler turned actor has recently joined the Dune reboot, the next few months might be clear for him as Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is no longer shooting after James Gunn was fired.

There's no word on who his opponent might be but Randy Orton seems like a safe bet and there was definitely a minor tease for that during his SmackDown 1000 appearance. We'll just have to wait and see for now but the WrestleMania card should start coming together once the Royal Rumble takes place. Who would you like to see Batista square off with? Share your thoughts on that down below.
