According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is planning to have The O.C. battle The Undisputed Era on WWE TV in the coming weeks. While you might think that's a match which should be on the Survivor Series card, it doesn't currently appear as if that's going to happen as Styles will be part of a midcard championship Triple Threat match at the PPV instead.

Bear in mind that NXT Tag Team Champions Kyle O'Reilly & Bobby Fish are also already booked for a match at Survivor Series so this bout happening on RAW (or NXT) seems far more likely.

Interestingly, it's noted that before this NXT program was booked, Styles was earmarked to be the United States Champion at the PPV. However, it appears as if one major title change could take place as Meltzer believes Daniel Bryan will defeat Shinsuke Nakamura for the Intercontinental title before Survivor Series, thereby making it Styles vs. Bryan vs. Roderick Strong.

We'll keep you guys updated as we learn more.
