WWE Reportedly Looking To Push Younger Stars And Edgier Content To Win Back Teen Viewers

According to Dave Meltzer on the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is trying to win back teen viewers and evidence of that could be seen on this week's episodes of RAW and SmackDown Live.

Apparently, the company is planning to feature edgier, more "risque" content moving forward and that would explain Corey Graves saying "Holy sh*t" and Kofi Kingston giving Samoa Joe the finger. Who knows, it could even explain why Maria Kanellis talked about Becky Lynch getting her pregnant!

Meltzer adds that we could see more NXT talent popping up on both shows in order to put the spotlight on younger, fresher talent...does that mean less time will be devoted to veterans like Shane McMahon and The Undertaker?

Time will tell on that front but it will definitely be interesting seeing if we continue seeing changes, especially with Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff now in a position of power behind the scenes.
