WWE Reportedly Pushed Hard For Rey Mysterio To Pull Out Of Chris Jericho's Upcoming Cruise

Rey Mysterio has returned to WWE on a full-time basis as part of the SmackDown Live roster but he has one final non-WWE appearance to make and that will be during this weekend's Chris Jericho’s Rock N Rager at Sea. The Master of the 619 won't be wrestling at the event and despite him telling WWE he wanted to fulfil his commitment, they've actually been pushing him to drop out of it!

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, he's not booked for any WWE Live events this weekend as a result and there's some speculation that WWE has been looking to get him to drop out of the event because their relationship with Jericho isn't good right now, perhaps as a result of him working so closely with promotions like New Japan Pro Wrestling and Cody Rhodes' Bullet Club.

The cruise has been a hit for Jericho. He tried to get WWE to let him use NXT talent but they said no and the sold-out show will instead feature the likes of The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega and more.
