WWE Reportedly Signs Former IMPACT WRESTLING And RING OF HONOR Star Deonna Purrazzo
WWE continues to snap up some of the best independent talent out there, and now a new report indicates that the company has signed former Impact Wrestling and ROH star Deonna Purrazzo to a developmental deal.
On the heels of the recent news that WWE has signed Japanese megastar Io Shirai, it's being reported that the company has now acquired another top female indie wrestler.
Though this has yet to be officially confirmed, Squared Circle Sirens reckons the promotion has signed former Impact Wrestling and Ring of Honor talent Deonna Purrazzo to a developmental contract.
The 23-year old New Jersey native is expected to report to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida in a few weeks time.
If Purrazzo looks familiar, it's because she did actually appear on WWE TV in the past. She was one of Adam Rose’s Rosebuds, lost to Asuka in an NXT squash match, and also competed a battle royal to determine the number one contender for the NXT Women’s Championship back in 2016.
