WWE Reveals That New Universal Champion Goldberg Will Be On Tonight's Episode Of SMACKDOWN

Yes, 53-year-old Bill Goldberg is indeed the new Universal Champion after defeating The Fiend at Super ShowDown last night.

Following that big win, WWE has now confirmed that Goldberg will make an appearance during tonight's episode of SmackDown. Rumour has it that he'll defend the title against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, so don't be surprised if the stage is set for that.

In the official tease released by WWE, they ask: "Will 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt reemerge to confront the first man to stop his twisted rampage? Or will Goldberg target a new member of Team Blue?"

Wyatt was buried by Goldberg at the show, and while a manic Fiend stared him down before disappearing, it's hard to imagine him getting revenge on the WWE Hall of Famer at this point (especially with WWE seemingly trying to build up Goldberg to be some sort of unstoppable force heading into the Show of Shows).

Are you guys excited for SmackDown?
