Plenty is happening behind the scenes in WWE right now, with several notable names finding themselves at the centre of speculation about their respective futures and creative directions.

From a potential bigger push for Solo Sikoa and an update on John Cena’s WWE contract to the latest on Bayley, Rhea Ripley, Bron Breakker and Jordynne Grace, there’s a lot to unpack. In our latest WWE Rumor Roundup, we have updates on that, along with new details on a controversial Becky Lynch promo line and why Jordynne Grace has yet to become a regular presence on WWE television.

Check out all the latest WWE rumors below, and stay tuned for more on these developing stories.

  • WrestleVotes reports that Solo Sikoa has become widely regarded as one of the funniest people in the WWE locker room. There is reportedly plenty of appreciation backstage for WWE allowing him to show more of his personality, with further talk of a bigger push for Sikoa as 2026 continues.

  • While John Cena has retired from in-ring competition, Fightful reports that he remains under a "multi-year deal with WWE in an ambassador role." The belief within WWE is reportedly that the contract would prevent Cena from wrestling elsewhere, though he has made it clear he has no intention of doing so.

  • The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Becky Lynch's controversial line about Liv Morgan not being the greatest women's champion to have slept with Dominik Mysterio was included in the script. The line was subsequently edited out of replay packages, likely to increase speculation that the two women went off-script and have real heat.
  • WWE also reportedly hopes to have Rhea Ripley back in time for next year's Royal Rumble.

  • Bayley has continued to play into speculation that she could leave WWE for AEW when her contract expires, but Bryan Alvarez reports that people he has spoken to in AEW are "baffled" by the situation. There is reportedly a belief that Bayley's WWE deal isn't up for some time, potentially as late as January, assuming no additional time is added. She is not expected to appear at All In, and there may not be a resolution to her WWE status until 2027. Dave Meltzer also noted that Bayley has not re-signed and could potentially be kept off television until she does.

  • Following Jonathan Coachman's claims that Bron Breakker is unhappy with how WWE has been using him, Self Made Pro reveals that he has been "baffled with his creative in recent months." However, WWE has reportedly already begun rehabilitating Breakker's character on RAW.

  • WrestleVotes reports that Jordynne Grace's current absence from WWE television is simply a result of limited time following SmackDown's return to a two-hour format.
