There’s no shortage of WWE news and rumours doing the rounds right now, with Bayley’s contract status somehow becoming even more confusing after her return to RAW this week.

Elsewhere, we have updates on Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, Johnny Gargano, Jordynne Grace, and Rusev, while there's even some real-life relationship drama causing a stir on social media.

Here's the latest batch of WWE rumours you need to know...

  • Bayley returning to WWE television on RAW this week was supposed to clear up the confusion surrounding her status with the company. There have been conflicting reports about her contract status, and Fightful has now chimed in to say, "AEW doesn’t necessarily have that information yet" regarding Bayley potentially re-signing with WWE, adding that they "definitely had high hopes that they would at least be able to make a play for Bayley."

  • The current plan is for Johnny Gargano to be featured more prominently following his WWE Championship match against CM Punk on SmackDown, according to Fightful Select. Given how little WWE has done with Gargano in recent months, it’s arguably overdue.
  • The site also reports that Jordynne Grace could return to WWE television soon, although she’ll be doing something "categorically different" from what she was doing before. Exactly what that means remains anyone’s guess.

  • Self Made Pro claims WWE is deliberately putting Worlds Collide opposite AEW in an attempt to help AAA secure a TV deal while also proving WWE can successfully run against the number two promotion.

  • We haven’t seen Seth Rollins since SummerSlam, where he and Roman Reigns tore the house down in a World Heavyweight Championship match before finally making peace after years as sworn enemies. WrestleVotes said they haven’t heard his name come up "in a while," but believe he should "be back relatively soon" and noted he was never expected to be out for a prolonged period. We’re now approaching six weeks since his last WWE television appearance, but the good news is that he isn’t injured and his absence is simply a creative decision.
  • Despite how his match against Randy Orton at Saturday Night’s Main Event played out, Cody Rhodes’ heel turn is "not in the cards" right now, according to the same outlet.

  • Bryan Alvarez noted on X that "the whole Performance Center was shocked that Wendy Choo was released" by WWE in the recent cuts from the NXT roster.

  • According to Fightful Select, Rusev is waiting to be cleared following an undisclosed illness. He should be back on television soon.

  • There is plenty of speculation that WWE Superstar Stephanie Vaquer and NXT wrestler Myles Borne may have broken up after they unfollowed each other on social media and deleted various comments and pictures of themselves together. Neither has confirmed anything, but that hasn't stopped fans from speculating.
