WWE Rumored To Be Pulling The Plug On Non-Televised Live Events In The Near Future

This could be a game-changer for WWE as it's been revealed today that WWE may be considering pulling the plug on all future live events. What's happening? Find everything we know so far after the jump...

Take this with a pinch of salt for now but a new report claims that WWE is planning to stop non-televised live events moving forward. These are the house shows which take place when RAW, SmackDown, NXT, and PPVs either are or are not on the air (SmackDown Superstars frequently compete on Monday nights elsewhere when RAW is airing).

Apparently, the plan is to put a stop to these shows for at least three to six months. The reason for this unexpected change has not been revealed...or confirmed, as of yet.

Vince McMahon has been saying for a while now that big changes are coming to these house shows but we haven't seen any evidence of them. This could be why they're being put on hiatus and there's no way WWE is unaware of how often photos of nearly empty buildings these shows are happening in have gone viral as tickets sales are not good.

This will also give WWE Superstars a break from the road but it could hurt the pay of those who don't appear on television that often. Hopefully, we'll get some official news soon.
