As we told you yesterday, WWE is reportedly planning a third Money in the Bank ladder match featuring a number tag teams from RAW and SmackDown Live but there's been no official announcement about that as of yet. Well, according to Bryan Alvarez, WWE was going to confirm plans for the match during this Monday's episode of RAW but the company changed its mind at the last minute.
Why? Well, with six weeks to go until the PPV takes place, they've simply decided that there's still plenty of time to announce this additional ladder match so it's made a little more newsworthy.
This actually explains why the show featured promos from the likes of Breezango and The Ascension when it's pretty obvious that they're not going to be put forward to earn a place in the Money in the Bank ladder matches. It seems no one alerted WWE's video department to these changes which is why they still ended up being part of the show. As always, be sure to stay tuned for updates.
