WWE SMACKDOWN Crowns Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal Winner And Makes Big Change To WRESTLEMANIA Match

Last night's episode of SmackDown saw the latest winner of the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal crowned, while a big change was made to a tag team match set to take place at WrestleMania this weekend.

Unsurprisingly, last night's SmackDown - the final WWE show before this weekend's WrestleMania - featured major ramifications for the Show of Shows.

The biggest came after Elektra Lopez defeated Zelina Vega. Andrade El Idolo accompanied Santos Escobar and Dominik Mysterio to the ring, but when the heels attacked Rey Mysterio, the former NXT Champion laid waste to them both, later agreeing to tag with the Master of the 619 at WrestleMania

That came after a mysterious assailant attacked Dragon Lee backstage, ruling him out of the tag team match.

Elsewhere in the show, Bronson Reed emerged victorious in the annual Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, becoming the latest WWE Superstar to hold the prestigious trophy. Previous winners include Cesaro, Big Show, Baron Corbin, Mojo Rawley, Matt Hardy, Braun Strowman, Jey Uso, Madcap Moss, and Bobby Lashley.

Outside of a few of them, we'd say winning the match worked out pretty well for their respective careers.

Randy Orton and Kevin Owens laid out Logan Paul before their United States Championship match, while LA Knight made his intentions known before his one-on-one bout with AJ Styles this weekend.

In the main event, Jey Uso squared off with his younger brother Solo Sikoa and picked up the win by disqualification when he was attacked by Jimmy. Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins hit the ring to even the odds and vowed to end The Bloodline on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
