WWE SMACKDOWN LIVE Ratings Rise Slightly As Randy Orton Battled Kevin Owens In The Main Event

Not a whole lot happened on this week's episode of SmackDown Live but ratings actually rose as the growing tension between Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon continued and we got a No Disqualification main event.

This week's episode of SmackDown Live was pretty uneventful but that's probably to be expected when Clash of Champions is still a good few weeks away. The tension between Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon continues to build (what the result of that will be remains to be seen) and the Riott Squad took out Naomi and Charlotte Flair, while the main event pitted Kevin Owens against Randy Orton.

Both that and AJ Styles vs. The Singh Brothers
were advertised ahead of time and the show drew a total of 2,680,000 million viewers. That's up from last week's 2,662,000 million viewers.

That's only a very small rise and not particularly significant in the grand scheme of things but it's good to see SmackDown Live remain consistent in terms of viewership. As of right now, there's no sign of the Tuesday night show moving past RAW but the gap has definitely decreased since the WWE Draft. What did you think of tonight's show?
