It appears that Jeff Hardy is dealing with a lower body injury; According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, the WWE Smackdown Tag Team champion is currently hurting and was seen "limping significantly" at a WWE live event over the weekend.

The Hardys recently defeated the Usos on the blue brand to capture the Tag Team titles for the eighth time together in their WWE careers. There’s no word on how significant the injury is or what the plans will be for the duo going forward.

Matt Hardy himself is coming back after a long layoff due to injury last year. Jeff Hardy has been dealing with several injures over the last year, though he has yet to take any major time off. It’s possible that the company have the legendary tag team drop the titles soon, and let Jeff rest and heal for a good amount of time; however, that’s just pure speculation at this point.

The SmackDown brand has been hit with several injuries recently as Sheamus is currently out of action with a reported concussion, Daniel Bryan is dealing with an undisclosed injury, and Big E suffered a torn meniscus.
