It's been revealed today that a power struggle at WWE Studios has resulted in Michael Luisi being ousted as the division's President. He took the job eight years ago and in that time has helped WWE Studios move ahead leaps and bounds starting with direct to DVD drivel like The Marine to genre hits like Oculus and the upcoming Fighting With My Family which stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

Not a lot of details have been revealed but it's said that a clash with Michelle Williams - the co-President of WWE who recently took on the role of co-President at WWE Studios as well -
is what caused it.

On the way from WWE Studios over the next few years are The Buddy Games and Pandemonium. Other titles are also thought to be in development, while WWE has also found a great deal of success with animated features which have mashed up the world of WWE with The Jetsons and Scooby-Doo. In the meantime, it's thought that Wilson will run WWE Studios alongside executive Timothy Schmidt.
