Ember Moon was part of last night's WWE Backstage (yes, it's somehow still airing on Fox Sports 1), and in a discussion with WWE Hall of Famers Booker T and Mark Henry talking about matches they would like to do over again, Moon said she believes she should have been the one to defeat Asuka's undefeated streak in NXT.
Many fans argued that should have been the case at the time, and Moon added that she would also like to redo her match with Bayley at SummerSlam (which wasn't particularly well-received).
The topic of Moon's torn Achilles then came up, and she dropped a major bombshell. "Realizing that I may have a career-ending injury. I’m coming back from the hardest injury. I might not have a chance to redeem myself of all the things I wanted to do and I wanted to do in my future. It’s so hard to look back and regret when I try to look forward."
Starting to get emotional, Moon added: "It’s so hard to look back…I’m trying to get on y’alls level. I’m going to prove to you guys that I’m worth redeeming those mistakes and those regrets. It’s just going to be awhile before I do so." The injury she's referring to came during a 24/7 Championship segment which sore Moon tear her Achilles straight off the bone.
