Since Wrestlemania earlier this month, Ronda Rousey's status in the WWE has been a bit up in the air. With reports that she broke her hand during the main event match and is scheduled to have surgery this week, a timeline for her return is a mystery. However, it seems the former RAW Women's Champion could be using this time to accomplish another, more personal goal - starting a family.
Ronda Rousey's desire to start a family with husband Travis Browne has been well-documented for a while now, but it was always a question as to when she would take a break from her professional goal. In a not-so-subtle post on Instagram, it seems like that break starts now.
Rousey posted a photo of herself and Browne with the clever hashtag "#impregnationvacation," suggesting the two will begin trying to have a child. Now, this sort of thing can sometimes take time, so it's possible she could be on an extended vacation from the ring.
In any case, this is incredibly exciting for Ronda Rousey who has had a tremendous career both in the UFC's Octagon and WWE's ring. Of course, having a baby doesn't necessarily mean she's done with professional wrestling for good, but it seems she'll be absent — or limited — for the time being.
On a related note, a report today claims WWE officials are "hopeful" that Ronda Rousey will return either later this year or early next year.
