WWE Superstar Turns Heel By Attacking Seth Rollins On RAW Following Surprise Return Of Fan-Favorite Tag Team

The post-SummerSlam episode of RAW didn't disappoint, and as well as the return of a fan-favourite tag team, a heel turn has set the stage for Seth Rollins' next World Heavyweight Championship challenger.

Last night's episode of RAW proved to be a big night for WWE Superstars like LA Knight and Chad Gable, but it's the return of a fan-favourite tag team which ended up stealing the show.

Yes, The New Day is back, baby, with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods picking up a win over The Viking Raiders. Later in the show, they made it clear their plan now is to regain the Undisputed Tag Team Championships, and we're sure these two will have some great matches with Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens.

Unfortunately, both Sami and KO are thought to be nursing minor injuries, so time will tell what happens there.

As for Big E, he remains sidelined with a potentially career-ending neck injury and we don't currently know whether the former WWE Champion will be able to step back into the ring. We certainly hope so, though.

Elsewhere on RAW, Cody Rhodes, Shinsuke Nakamura, and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins squared off with The Judgement Day. There's still plenty of tension in that heel faction, with Finn Balor once again featured backstage alongside JD McDonagh.

In the main event, the babyfaces won the match and RAW looked to go off the air with them celebrating...until Nakamura turned heel and hit Rollins with the Kinshasa.

It looks like he'll be Rollins' next challenger for the World Heavyweight title, an intriguing prospect and one which keeps Cody away from the title before he inevitably challenges Roman Reigns for his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at next year's WrestleMania
