Zelina Vega surprised everyone when she chose to return to WWE, though many have questioned her thought process since then. The booking for her character hasn't exactly been the best, and there was a lot of backlash online when the company failed to include her on the episode of SmackDown commemorating the 9/11 attacks (her father died in the World Trade Center).
Vega was knocked out of the Queen's Crown tournament pretty quickly, and a couple of weeks ago, pro wrestling legend Dutch Mantell (Zeb Colter) shared his thoughts on that.
"They’ve beaten that poor girl so many times...she doesn’t quit, and they kicked the crap out of that girl. But when she kicks, she kicks. I don’t see her pulling anything back or trying to lessen the blows or anything. Anyways, I kind of like her, and I think they are punishing her for what she left last time," he recalled. "You know the old saying in wrestling, If they’re somewhere else, you can’t screw’em but if they’re right there, you can screw’em. That’s a direct quote from Vince McMahon."
That sounds like something Vince would do, and it's a real shame. Still, Vega appears to be making the most of her time in WWE, and she recently showed off a very cool Pokémon tattoo on WWE's The Bump. As you can see it's Eevee evolution Espeon, and it's no secret that Vega is a big fan of all-things geek (she frequently cosplays as video game and comic book characters).
