WWE SURVIVOR SERIES Ended Up Being A Disappointing, Overlong Commercial For RED NOTICE And Pizza Hut

WWE delivered another hit-and-miss PPV with Survivor Series last night, but little did we expect the 25th anniversary of The Rock's debut to be a glorified commercial for Netflix's Red Notice and Pizza Hut...

Much to the disappointment of fans in the building and those watching from home, there was no sign of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson at Survivor Series last night. That's despite the fact WWE spent the entire night hyping up Netflix's Red Notice with a bizarre skit involving Vince McMahon claiming he was given a priceless golden egg by the former WWE Superstar turned actor.

In other words, fans were supposed to believe that the fictional egg from a movie in which Johnson plays a fictional character is somehow real and Vince's possession.

Ultimately, the egg was stolen and Vince vowed to bring the entire RAW and SmackDown roster to tonight's episode of RAW in order to get to the bottom of what happened. The whole thing was bizarre, but arguably paled in comparison to the Battle Royal. Basically a commercial for Pizza Hut, the winner - Omos - basically feuded with The Street Profits...because they stole his victory pizza.

The entire PPV was dominated with bad booking (there were a couple of great matches), particularly in the traditional 5v5 Survivor Series bouts. That's it for WWE PPVs in 2021, though, and it will be interesting seeing what happens with the fallout of that "stolen" egg during RAW later tonight.

Here are the full results from Survivor Series. The winners are highlighted in red!
