Last week, we learned that that the current plan is for Universal Champion Brock Lesnar to face WWE Champion Jinder Mahal in a non-title match at Survivor Series. However, Dave Meltzer has added that the idea for a while has been to do a series of RAW vs. SmackDown Live matches at the PPV and that we may see more of them added over the coming weeks. What will they be, though?
That remains to be seen. Last year, both shows pitted their male Superstars, female Superstars, and tag teams against each other but it's doubtful the company will do the same thing yet again.
There have been rumblings that we're getting a Team Kevin Owens vs. Team Shane McMahon match and that The Shield will be involved in some sort of elimination match too. As a result, it would make sense for this year's Survivor Series to feature championship vs. championship bouts but we'll have to wait and see. The event takes place in Houston, Texas on November 19th. Are you excited?
