WWE SURVIVOR SERIES: WARGAMES Preview - Here's The Confirmed Card For This Saturday's PLE

WWE will hold the 37th annual Survivor Series this weekend, and with just a few days left before the show takes place, we're taking a closer look at the event and the current, confirmed lineup of matches!

This Saturday, WWE will hold Survivor Series for the 37th time. The show will hail from Allstate Arena in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont, Illinois, prompting speculation that hometown hero, and former AEW star, CM Punk is going to make his long-awaited return to WWE.

During Monday night's episode of RAW, it was confirmed that Randy Orton will join "Team Cody" for the WarGames match (the second time this event has used that match gimmick as the show's centrepiece). That brought an end to the notion of the Best in the World making a surprise return as part of the 5-v-5 bout.

Still, many fans remain convinced Punk will appear, so we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Overall, the show looks like a fun time. We're getting two lots of WarGames, one for male Superstars and another for the women. Survivor Series will also feature two title matches, and a singles bout pitting Carlito vs. Santos Escobar after the latter recently attacked and injured WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio.

It's a little surprising to see that The Bloodline won't have a role to play at the show, though we've known for a while that Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will be skipping WWE's final PLE of 2023.

With SmackDown set to take place this Friday, there's always a chance WWE will rush to add one final match to the card, especially as it's sorely missing the likes of LA Knight, Kevin Owens, and Solo Sikoa! While we're expecting Survivor Series - one of WWE's four big years PLEs - to have major consequences moving forward, it won't be until January's Royal Rumble that the sports entertainment giant ups the ante in terms of storytelling.

Here's the full, confirmed card for Survivor Series: WarGames

Men's War Games Match
Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Sami Zayn, Jey Uso, and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins vs. The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, and "Senor Money in the Bank" Damian Priest)

Women's War Games Match
Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair, Shotzi, and Becky Lynch vs. Damage CTRL (Bayley, Kairi Sane, Asuka, and WWE Women's Champion Iyo Sky)

Women's World Championship Match
Zoey Stark vs. Rhea Ripley (c)

Intercontinental Championship Match
The Miz vs. Gunther (c)

Carlito vs. Santos Escobar
