Survivor Series: WarGames opened with Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, Naomi, Iyo Sky and Bayley taking on Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton and Candice LeRae inside the WarGames cage.
It was an action-packed bout which even saw a toilet seat come into play, but one of the biggest talking points is bound to be the fact Tiffany Stratton snuck her Money in the Bank briefcase into the match. She teased a cash-in, but the action soon resumed, and Ripley ultimately took her revenge by hitting Morgan with a Riptide through a table.
The United States Championship was on the line next and, after returning to WWE with a new look and entrance music, the King of Strong Style managed to defeat LA Knight for the title with his patented Kinshasa.
As for the Intercontinental Championship, Bron Breakker retained his title over Ludwig Kaiser and Sheamus after taking down the latter with a Spear.
One of the most intriguing matches on the Survivor Series: WarGames card was World Heavyweight Champion Gunther vs. Damian Priest. The Ring General has seemed rattled ever since he was defeated by Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel, seemingly giving Priest the advantage.
Alas, as he did at SummerSlam, Finn Balor once again screwed his former Judgement Day ally out of the win, though Gunther didn't appear overly appreciative. Regardless, he took advantage of the distraction to score the 1-2-3.
In the men's WarGames match, Roman Reigns, The Usos (Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso), Sami Zayn and CM Punk battled The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa) and Bronson Reed.
Tension between Reigns and Punk was teased throughout, with the OTC even inadvertently hitting the Second City Saint with a Spear at one point. Despite that, Punk saved him from Bronson Reed's Tsunami and the two teamed up with The Usos and Zayn to hit their respective finishers on Solo before Reigns put him down with a Spear off for the win.
There were no surprise returns of debuts at this year's Survivor Series: WarGames and no sign of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson either.
