During last night's episode of RAW, The Hurt Business hit the ring in order to celebrate Bobby Lashley winning the United States Championship from Apollo Crews during Sunday's Payback. MVP asked Cedric Alexander whether he's had a change of heart about joining him, Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin, and that set the stage for a six-man tag team match.
Aligned with The Viking Raiders, Alexander picked up the 1-2-3 by grabbing MVP's tights, something which appeared to make him happy. As a result, he stopped Lashley and Benjamin from beating up the babyface, and we later saw Alexander return MVP's smile as he left the arena.
After plans for Crews to turn heel and join The Hurt Business were seemingly scrapped, it now looks like the stage is being set for an Alexander heel turn. However, WWE might be taking a slow burn approach to that as The Hurt Business actually attacked Alexander after the break before being chased off by Crews and Ricochet.
Could it be that Alexander will turn on his friends to align himself with the heel group?
