WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne Has Been Pulled From An Indie Event During ROYAL RUMBLE Weekend

Pete Dunne has been delivering plenty of 5* matches as the WWE United Kingdom Champion and it now appears as if he'll be making an appearance at the Royal Rumble next weekend after being pulled from a show.

WWE still hasn't launched that long rumoured UK wrestling show but Pete Dunne - who most frequently appears on NXT - continues to defend the United Kingdom Championship both in the company and at various indie events across the world. Well, with rumours swirling about surprise entrants at next Sunday's Royal Rumble, it appears as if Dunne could end up ultimately being among them.

It's been confirmed that the champ will no longer appear at a Britannia Wrestling event next weekend and while that's generated speculation that he could appear in a match before NXT TakeOver: Philadephia, it's every bit as likely that he'll be part of the Royal Rumble match as well.

We'll obviously have to just wait and see but this would be good exposure for the United Kingdom Championship (even if it does somewhat devalue it by having Dunne attempt to battle for one of WWE's world titles at WrestleMania instead). Which surprise entrants are you hoping to see in the Rumble? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments section down below.
