Goldust made his WWE return a few years ago and hasn't failed to impress ever since. He performs like a man ten years younger and while WWE Creative hasn't really had much for him to do since he and his brother Cody Rhodes feuded with The Shield, he's remained a pretty reliable source of entertainment ever since. However, after undergoing knee surgery, he's expected to be gone for a while.

The WWE veteran underwent that on Tuesday and while it was initially reported that just the one knee was being worked on, we later learned that it was both. Thankfully, the surgeries went well!

Despite WWE confirming that Goldust is expected to make a full recovery, there's no word on how long he'll be out of action for. It's clearly a longstanding injury, though, because he was working WWE Live events in tag matches up until a few weeks ago. The surgery was performed by
Dr. Jeffery Dugas in Birmingham, Alabama so he was in good hands and we'll hopefully see him return next year.
