WWE Won't Air This Year's TRIBUTE TO THE TROOPS On TV, But We Have The Results For You Right Here

It's been confirmed today that WWE will not be airing a Tribute to the Troops special on TV this year. While WWE promoted it with a press release beforehand and showed footage on SmackDown, Dave Meltzer has now confirmed that the company decided not to tape the show in its entirety and it was basically just a regular Live event for the troops.

There's no specific reason for this but given ratings for previous years, it appears that it's not something the USA Network wanted and wasn't worth putting on the WWE Network.

However, we do have the results for you! Humberto Carrillo and Kevin Owens defeated Andrade and Drew McIntyre, The O.C. defeated Ricochet and The Viking Raiders, The Kabuki Warriors defeated Natalya and Sarah Logan, The Street Profits defeated Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder, and Seth Rollins beat Erick Rowan in a "Boot Camp" match.

As you can likely tell, none of those matches furthered what we're seeing on television and while they were likely good fun, chances are fans wouldn't have been desperate to tune into them!
