This year, as everyone is fully aware by now, WrestleMania 36 was split in half over two nights, pre-taped and filmed in front of no crowd. It was a strange sight to see, to say the least.
Plenty wrestling fans no doubt had zero interest in seeing this without the pomp and circumstance that would have accompanied the original planned show for Raymond James Stadium, so if you missed it or skipped out, you're not alone.
For anyone who wants to know the full scope of what transpired during Part 1, though, here is a breakdown of the results of each match and any other highlights worth mentioning:
— Cesaro defeated Drew Gulak by pinfall in the kickoff.
— Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross defeated The Kabuki Warriors by pinfall to win the Women's Tag Team Championship titles.
— Elias defeated King Corbin by pinfall.
— Becky Lynch retained the Raw Women's Championship by pinfall over Shayna Baszler.
— Sami Zayn retained the Intercontinental Championship over Daniel Bryan by pinfall.
— Triple Threat Ladder Match: John Morrison retained the SmackDown Tag Team Championship over Jimmy Uso and Kofi Kingston.
— Kevin Owens defeated Seth Rollins by disqualification when Rollins used the ring bell. Then, Owens demanded the match be restarted as a No Disqualification match. Owens won that by pinfall, too.
— Mojo Rawley won the 24/7 Championship by pinning R-Truth.
— Braun Strowman won the Universal Championship by defeating Goldberg by pinfall.
— Boneyard Match: The Undertaker defeated AJ Styles.
