Fans have been wondering why we didn't see Retribution cause chaos at SummerSlam, Payback or on SmackDown in the lead-up to those PPV events, and now it looks like we have an explanation.
According to Post Wrestling's sources, the mysterious faction will remain on Monday Night Raw from now on. Members of the masked group showed up during last night's episode to interrupt a tag team match between The Street Profits and Andrade and Angel Garza, but they still haven't been officially named as established WWE/NXT Superstars.
It seems highly likely that Dominik Dijakovic will wind up being unveiled as their leader, but that's far from a certainty. There are still theories that Roman Reigns might end up being the mastermind behind this destructive new stable (not a chance).
At any rate, it seems odd that a group bent on causing as much trouble for WWE as possible would restrict themselves to just one show, but here we are.
The whole Retribution storyline has not been particularly well received by fans thus far, but depending on how the inevitable big reveals are handled, the faction does have a lot of potential. What do you guys think? Are you willing to give these maked men and women a chance to get over?
