There are a lot of intriguing matches taking place at this year's WrestleMania, but one of the most highly anticipated has to be Randy Orton vs. The Fiend. Their rivalry has been playing out for months now, with The Viper literally burning Bray Wyatt alive at one point.
Since then, he's been tormented by Alexa Bliss, and The Fiend recently returned with a startling new look to set up a match with Orton at the Showcase of the Immortals.
Now, we have some details on how that's expected to play out; according to the popular Dirty Sheets Patreon page (via Sportskeeda), WWE plans to have The Fiend squash Orton in a relatively short match. The question is, where do thing go for him from there?
Last year, Wyatt defeated John Cena in an inventive cinematic match, but once again making him an unstoppable force feels like a backwards step and one which doesn't leave WWE with many booking options. Bliss is likely to get involved somehow, and it would be surprising if WWE doesn't have some sort of swerve planned for how things play out when Orton squares off with this iteration of The Fiend.
There's now less than a week to go until the match takes place, and we're fully expecting the storyline to continue to play out during tonight's RAW (which has already been taped by WWE).
