Last July, WWE held the Mae Young Classic and signed up a wealth of new female talent in the process. While there are plenty of rumours circulating in regards to who will be part of this year's tournament, Dave Meltzer is reporting that indie talent Xia Brookside could be part of that and may already be signed to a WWE contract (which will presumably see her debut in NXT).

It's noted that Xia cancelled her summer tour and failed to tell the promotion why that was. More often than not, that's a sign someone is heading to WWE and she does have a famous father!

That is, of course, WWE trainer Robbie Brookside. However, Xia being related to him is irrelevant because she's a fantastic talent despite having only been in the business for three years. During that time, she's wrestled for a number of fan-favourite indie promotions and wrestled 186 matches across five different countries. So, yeah, it goes without saying that she's a hot young talent.

Whether or not she'll end up in WWE remains to be seen but we'll be sure to keep you updated.
