During the latest SmackDown on FOX, it was confirmed that YouTuber Logan Paul will appear on Friday's episode as a special guest of Sami Zayn's. The former Intercontinental Champion is set to face Kevin Owens at WrestleMania, and Paul is expected to factor into that match somehow.

He has a massive following online, and despite the fact he's often courted controversy, Paul is someone who can bring a lot of new eyes to the WWE product. With the WWE Network now part of Peacock, generating headlines is something the company is more keen on now than ever before.

Talking on a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said: "Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn on Sunday. In that one, Logan Paul is gonna be involved in the match. I don’t know if he’s a referee or what but he’s definitely involved. The idea is Bad Bunny on Saturday and Logan Paul on Sunday as your big celebrities."

Given his recent exploits in the boxing world, we're fully expecting Paul to see some action, though you have to hope he doesn't end up being put over at the expense of Owens and Zayn.

We'll be sure to keep you updated on this one as we learn more.
