A New No. 1 Contender For The IWGP World Heavyweight Title Will Be Crowned On Tonight's AEW COLLISION

Who will have the opportunity to challenge Zack Sabre Jr. for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship?

Forbidden Door is one week away and Zack Sabre Jr needs a dance partner for the crossover event. None of the competitors in the four way match have fought Zack previously, but each man has been a champion at some point in their career.

Nigel McGuinness is still on a high after being out of the business for over a decade. The former ROH World Champion hasn't had much luck in the wins and losses department, but that doesn’t take away from his athletic ability between those ropes.

Lee Moriarty is the only champion in this match. He’s currently representing ROH as the Pure Champion and he’s been killing it down in the promotion with some of the biggest and most impressive victories of his career. On the hand, Daniel Garcia hasn’t been the same man since he dropped the TNT title to Adam Cole earlier this year. Garcia is just looking for one big win to reignite the hot streak he had at the tail end of 2024.

Hechicero has been quite on a roll as of late and we could be calling him ROH World Champion soon. Could an IWGP World Heavyweight title be next in line?

In his debut, former X-Division Champion Ace Austin will take on the dastardly Ricochet. Austin is a veteran who has competed in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, House of Glory, and the place he’s mainly known for - TNA Wrestling. In addition to the X-Division title, Austin’s also won the Impact World Tag Team titles, and the Revolver Championship. But Ricochet is no slouch and this will be a huge test for the new AEW star. Can Ace Austin pull off an upset victory over Ricochet?

Jon Moxley wants to be done with JetSpeed once and for all. The former AEW World Champion has beaten Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight on separate occasions, but the new AEW tag team are a resilient duo set to help take down the Death Riders. Can JetSpeed pull off the huge victory? Or is this just another day for Jon Moxley and Wheeler Yuta?
