It's been a while since we've seen Adam Page and The Young Bucks, but The Elite members returned this week on AEW Dynamite to give us a little preview of the Stadium Stampede Match that's set for Double or Nothing this Saturday.
Matt Hardy took on Sammy Guevara in the main event, but after he pinned his opponent with a Twist of Fate, the rest of the Inner Circle appeared on the screen. Chris Jericho, Santana, Ortiz and Jake Hager had dragged Kenny Omega to the empty football arena where Saturday's first-ever Stadium Stampede match is set to take place.
Before they could really get to work with Jericho's baseball bat ("Floyd") however, The Bucks of Youth and The Hangman evened the odds and the brawl was on. The Elite managed to send The Inner Circle packing, but Page still seemed hesitant to fully commit to the team and walked away once the threat was neutralized.
If this was any indication of what we can expect from Saturday's match, it's certainly going to be a chaotic, potentially very entertaining encounter.
