AEW Champion Jon Moxley Really Enjoyed WRESTLEMANIA - Especially The Boneyard Match

Jon Moxley has been critical of how WWE approaches things in the past, but the All Elite Wrestling Champion did watch and enjoy WrestleMania (both nights) and had some very nice things to say about the event.

Although this year's WrestleMania was far from perfect, most fans would agree that the showcase of the immortals turned out a lot better than expected, and WWE and all of the talent involved did the best they could with what they had to work with.

This sentiment was shared by AEW Champion Jon Moxley, who revealed that he watched both nights of the massive event during an interview with Fightful.

Mox has had some pretty disparaging things to say about his former promotion in the past, but The Purveyor of Violence was full or praise for 'Mania, and seemed to enjoy the Boneyard Match between The Undertaker and AJ Styles in particular.

“I watched the whole thing. Both nights. I enjoyed it. I thought it flowed nicely and a lot of people really worked their ass off and put on great performances. I enjoyed the Boneyard Match, I thought that was cool. I thought that was really cool, too, because the Undertaker is a really beloved character. He’s like a comic book character. He’s a beloved character from our childhood. Same as John Wayne or John McClane or any action movie star you can think of, so it was really cool. I think everybody really enjoyed that.”

Mox has also had to work a couple of matches without the benefit of being able to feed off the live crowd, so he knows full well how difficult it is.

Moxley will defend the AEW Championship against Brodie Lee at Double or Nothing next month.
