Tonight's special three-hour AEW Dynamite and Collision broadcast (October 14, 2026) emanates from Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio and will air starting at 8 p.m. ET on TBS and HBO Max.
It's Wednesday, and you know what that means - results, match winners, promo segment notes and other major developments from All Elite Wrestling will be added below as Dynamite airs. This week's special combines Dynamite and Collision into a three-hour broadcast on the final Wednesday before AEW WrestleDream.
Preview & Predictions for AEW Dynamite:
On tap for tonight's episode, the final five spots in the AEW World Championship Clockwork Carnage Match at WrestleDream will be determined. TNT Champion Darby Allin defends against Hechicero, while AEW International Champion Kazuchika Okada puts his title on the line against Myron Reed. Adam Copeland battles Josh Alexander, Ricochet faces Ace Austin, and Konosuke Takeshita goes one-on-one with Brian Cage in three additional qualifying matches.
AEW World Champion Will Ospreay teams with AEW National Champion Andrade El Idolo against Samoa Joe and Tommaso Ciampa. The Death Riders' Jon Moxley, Gabe Kidd and Daniel Garcia will battle Don Callis Family members Mark Davis, Jake Doyle and Wardlow. AEW Women's World Champion Mercedes Mone joins Divine Dominion's Megan Bayne and Lena Kross against Triangle of Madness members Thekla, Julia Hart and Skye Blue. Britt Baker and Persephone also team against Dani Luna and Hyan.
I feel like this is a pretty straightforward set of results. These seem fairly obvious for their outcomes.
Allin retains over Hechicero. Okada retains over Reed. Duh. Other qualifiers likely go to Copeland, Ricochet, Takeshita.
The tag team matches across the board are largely to fill in the blanks for feuds, which often means someone like Hyan taking a pin so Persephone looks strong or Luna getting a win so she can get a future title shot. I'd lean toward Triangle of Madness, Ospreay and El Idolo, and The Don Callis Family.
AEW Dynamite Results
- Trios Match: The Don Callis Family (Mark Davis, Jake Doyle and Wardlow) defeated Jon Moxley, Gabe Kidd and Daniel Garcia by pinfall. Wardlow overpowered several opponents, including Moxley, while Marina Shafir got involved on behalf of the Death Riders during a referee distraction. In the closing sequence, Davis caught Moxley with a lariat and followed with his gutwrench piledriver to pin the AEW Continental Champion ahead of their championship match at WrestleDream.
- Clockwork Carnage Qualifying Match: Adam Copeland defeated Josh Alexander by pinfall. Alexander targeted Copeland's previously injured leg and exposed a turnbuckle during the match. Copeland eventually drove Alexander face-first into the exposed corner before connecting with a Spear for the victory. Afterward, Copeland revealed that Christian Cage suffered three broken ribs and a collapsed lung during their ladder match at All Out but managed to finish the match despite those injuries. Copeland then announced that 2027 would be his final year as a professional wrestler and said he wanted to capture the AEW World Championship before retiring. Don Callis interrupted and threatened Copeland's chances of making it to WrestleDream or even reaching 2027. Members of the Don Callis Family attacked Copeland, with Brian Cage delivering an F5. Konosuke Takeshita arrived alongside The Conglomeration to make the save.
- A video package explained the rules for the Clockwork Carnage Match at WrestleDream. Two competitors begin the match, with additional wrestlers entering at three-minute intervals. The contest features an initial elimination phase followed by a 15-minute scoring period, with the AEW World Championship going to the competitor who accumulates the most points.
- Clockwork Carnage Qualifying Match: Konosuke Takeshita defeated Brian Cage by submission. Cage used his strength to control portions of the match, but Takeshita survived several major offensive moves. Takeshita eventually connected with a jumping knee strike and trapped Cage in a Dragon Sleeper to force the submission and qualify for Clockwork Carnage.
- Backstage: Renee Paquette interviewed United Empire about WrestleDream. Will Ospreay addressed Samoa Joe ahead of their tag team match, while Mike Bailey discussed the upcoming Clockwork Carnage contest. Alex Windsor and Jamie Hayter of the Brawling Birds addressed their AEW Women's World Tag Team Championship challengers, Kris Statlander and Harley Cameron. Andrade El Idolo mocked Tommaso Ciampa for kissing him during their previous confrontation and questioned whether Ciampa could defeat him at WrestleDream.
- In-Ring: Tony Schiavone introduced FTR and Stokely Hathaway, who appeared on crutches. Dax Harwood complained about FTR not being the number one contenders to the AEW World Tag Team Championship despite defeating the Young Bucks three times in their five meetings. Harwood demanded that the Bucks come to the ring, but Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley of the Motor City Machine Guns appeared instead. Sabin praised FTR's accomplishments while Shelley challenged them to a best-of-five series to determine the better team. Stokely refused to begin the series in Cleveland and instead proposed that the first match take place at WrestleDream. The teams shook hands to confirm the agreement.
- Footage aired from Hangman Adam Page, Brody King and Bandido discussing their upcoming AEW World Trios Championship match against Swerve Strickland and New Level. Page questioned Strickland's decision to align with New Level after their previous championship issues. King encouraged Page to remain focused, while Bandido discussed their two-out-of-three-falls match and the importance of reclaiming the championships.
- AEW International Championship and Clockwork Carnage Qualifying Match: Kazuchika Okada (c) defeated Myron Reed by pinfall to retain the title. Reed repeatedly used his speed and aerial offense to challenge Okada, including a 450 Splash from the ring steps to the outside. Okada ultimately caught Reed with the Rainmaker to retain the championship and qualify for Clockwork Carnage.
- A video package highlighted MJF being ranked number one in the 2026 Pro Wrestling Illustrated PWI 500.
- In-Ring: Prince Nana and New Level (Kofi and Austin Creed) appeared alongside comedian Mojo Brookzz, who was filling in for Swerve Strickland due to a family matter. Brookzz praised New Level and mocked their WrestleDream opponents, including Brody King. Kofi acknowledged Bandido's recent victory over him in France but promised that New Level and Strickland would defeat Hangman Adam Page, Brody King and Bandido. Creed explained that they requested a two-out-of-three-falls match to determine which team was truly better, arguing that winning once could be attributed to luck. Creed also warned Page not to let his personal issues with Strickland interfere with his team's chances of winning.
- Women's Trios Match: Triangle of Madness (Thekla, Julia Hart and Skye Blue) defeated AEW Women's World Champion Mercedes Mone and Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne and Lena Kross) by pinfall. Thekla and Mone faced off during the match ahead of their championship meeting at WrestleDream. During the final sequence, Mone attempted to use the AEW Women's World Championship as a weapon, but her attack did not connect with its intended target. With the referee distracted, Hart sprayed black mist into Kross' eyes. Thekla followed with a stomp to pin Kross and win the match.
- Tag Team Match: Samoa Joe and Tommaso Ciampa defeated AEW World Champion Will Ospreay and AEW National Champion Andrade El Idolo by referee stoppage. Ospreay and Andrade worked together against Joe and Ciampa, but their opponents repeatedly targeted Andrade. Late in the match, Ciampa used the AEW National Championship belt to attack Andrade while the referee was distracted. Joe then applied the Coquina Clutch, rendering Andrade unconscious and forcing the referee to stop the match. Afterward, Joe returned the AEW World Championship to Ospreay while Ciampa placed the National Championship on Andrade. Andrade vs Ciampa for the AEW National Championship was confirmed for WrestleDream.
AEW Collision Results
- Backstage: Renee Paquette attempted to interview Jon Moxley following his defeat earlier in the evening. Moxley began throwing objects around the room and striking backstage equipment with a metal pipe. When Paquette asked what was bothering him, Moxley said he was experiencing considerable pain but could no longer distinguish what kind of pain it was. Marina Shafir approached him and instructed him to focus, reminding him that the only way out was through. Moxley repeated her words before leaving with the Death Riders.
- Clockwork Carnage Qualifying Match: Ricochet defeated Ace Austin by pinfall. Austin nearly secured an upset after countering several of Ricochet's moves and delivering a series of high-impact attacks. Ricochet eventually recovered and connected with the Spirit Gun followed by Vertigo to score the pinfall and advance to Clockwork Carnage.
- Backstage: Renee Paquette conducted a sit-down interview with Don Callis, Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight ahead of their AEW World Tag Team Championship match against the Young Bucks. Fletcher credited Callis with helping develop their partnership, while Knight said the two were even better together than individually. Callis claimed his knowledge of the Young Bucks would give his team an advantage and contrasted the Bucks' family relationship with the Don Callis Family's loyalty by choice. Matt and Nick Jackson suddenly attacked Fletcher and Knight with superkicks, sending Callis fleeing. The Bucks apologized to Paquette for arriving late and promised they would be on time for WrestleDream.
- In-Ring: Nick Wayne held a victory celebration following his win over Chris Jericho on Collision in France. Wayne repeatedly announced that he had defeated Jericho, triggering fireworks each time, and presented a video montage celebrating the victory. Jericho interrupted and showed additional footage revealing that Wayne had used a low blow before winning their previous match. Jericho pointed out that their series stood at one victory apiece and challenged Wayne to a rubber match at WrestleDream. Wayne accepted on the condition that Jericho would have to apologize to him in the ring if Wayne won. Jericho agreed and shook Wayne's hand before delivering a low blow of his own, telling Wayne that he still had lessons to learn.
- Backstage: Renee Paquette interviewed Samoa Joe and Tommaso Ciampa following their tag team victory. Ciampa said he intended to leave Andrade unconscious again when they meet for the AEW National Championship at WrestleDream. Joe claimed to have developed the gift of clairvoyance and predicted that every participant in Clockwork Carnage would be choked out, regardless of when they entered the match.
- Women's Tag Team Match: Dani Luna and Hyan defeated TBS Champion Persephone and Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. by pinfall. The match featured several near falls and confrontations between Luna and Persephone. During the closing sequence, Persephone attempted to use the TBS Championship as a weapon, but the referee intervened. Persephone nearly struck Baker with the title during the confusion, allowing Luna to shove Baker into Persephone and roll Baker up for the three-count. Afterward, Persephone and Baker attacked Luna and Hyan until Queen Aminata ran to the ring to make the save. AEW subsequently announced that Persephone will defend the TBS Championship against Luna, Hyan and Queen Aminata in a Fatal Four-Way Match at WrestleDream.
- A mysterious video package aired featuring a person conducting music before the footage transitioned to someone running the ropes inside a wrestling ring. No identity was officially confirmed during the segment.
- TNT Championship and Clockwork Carnage Qualifying Match: Darby Allin (c) defeated Hechicero by pinfall.
