Preview & Predictions for AEW Dynamite Blood & Guts:
On tap for tonight's episode, we've got two Blood & Guts matches, as well as a Last Man Standing match. Obviously, expect the theme of the night to be brutality.
AEW World Champion Adam Page faces one third of the AEW World Trios Champions, Powerhouse Hobbs. Considering this is a means to build more toward Page against Samoa Joe for Full Gear, I fully expect Page to win and for The Opps to have some kind of post or mid-match attack on Page, who may get saved by some others. If Hobbs wins, that would be interesting.
When it comes to the women's Blood & Guts match, I'm on the fence about the winner. The spotlight is going to be more on Mercedes Mone and Kris Statlander than any others, and I think unless the plan is for Mone to be victorious at Full Gear, it might be better for her to beat Statlander so she feels like more of a guarantee to win that AEW Women's World Championship. Of course, if Stat's team ends up winning, I'm going to be assuming Mone wins at Full Gear, instead.
For the men's teams, I would think The Death Riders would lose if this were the end of Jon Moxley's feud with Darby Allin. However, I'm not getting that vibe. Instead, I think The Don Callis Family will interfere, particularly with Kyle Fletcher getting his hands on Mark Briscoe, and that will give the win to the Death Riders.
