Tonight's episode of AEW Dynamite (August 12, 2026) emanates from The Pearl Theater at the Palms in Las Vegas, Nevada and will air starting at 8 p.m. ET on TBS and HBO Max.

It's Wednesday, and you know what that means - results, match winners, promo segment notes and other major developments from All Elite Wrestling will be added below as Dynamite airs.

Preview & Predictions for AEW Dynamite:

On tap for tonight's episode, Kevin Knight defends the TNT Championship against Chris Jericho; MJF, Nick Wayne and "Speedball" Mike Bailey compete for the No. 2 entry in the All In Casino Gauntlet Match; "Jungle" Jack Perry faces AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley in the first round of the AEW Continental Challenge Cup; and Jay White battles David Finlay in another first-round tournament match.

Considering the heat between Andrade El Idolo and MJF, I don't see any real justification for Nick Wayne or Speedball to win the #2 entry spot.

As the tournament for the AEW Continental Challenge Cup is a randomized bracket, it's harder to tell who moves on to fight who, but my ultimate prediction is that we're looking at Jon Moxley against Jay White in the finals, which means both Moxley beats Jack Perry tonight and White eliminates David Finlay from the running as well.

Kevin Knight beating Chris Jericho is a given. Why would Jericho win the TNT Championship? Why would Knight drop the belt just prior to All In, where he'll likely have a match against Darby Allin, as that's what has been set up? Stranger things have happened, but I can't imagine this is one of those cases where the belt is going to switch hands to completely offset a storyline and all for really nothing. My guess is Jericho just wants to put Knight over and work with him in the meantime, or Tony Khan sees a win over Jericho being a big tip of the cap to Knight's momentum.

Here are your results for AEW Dynamite - August 12, 2026:

  • Will Ospreay opened the show by calling out Kenny Omega, but Don Callis interrupted instead. Jake Doyle, Mark Davis, Rocky Romero and Trent Beretta attacked Ospreay until Omega made the save with a metal pipe. Omega told Ospreay this was the last time he would help him before their AEW World Championship match at All In, while Ospreay said he never asked for his help in the first place.
  • Three-Way Match for the No. 2 Entry in the All In Casino Gauntlet Match: MJF defeated Nick Wayne and "Speedball" Mike Bailey by submission after Wayne tapped out to the Salt of the Earth. Afterward, MJF promised to win the Casino Gauntlet and eventually reclaim the AEW World Championship. Andrade El Idolo's music played, but MJF revealed it was a fake-out and mocked Andrade for being absent after MJF's attack on him the previous week.
  • AEW Women's World Tag Team Champions Lena Kross and Megan Bayne delivered a message to the Brawling Birds from their bar, mocking their All In challengers and promising to defeat them in front of their home-country crowd.
  • Mick Foley interviewed Jay White and the Bang Bang Gang backstage. White said the Continental Challenge Cup rules would prevent outside interference from The Dogs and vowed to defeat David Finlay before eventually taking the tournament.
  • AEW Continental Challenge Cup First Round Match: Jay White defeated David Finlay by pinfall with the Blade Runner to advance.
  • Tony Schiavone interviewed new AEW World Trios Champions "Hangman" Adam Page, Bandido and Brody King before the returning Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana interrupted. Page offered to fight them immediately, but Ricochet said the rematch would happen on The Demand's terms.
  • Footage aired of Mercedes Mone attacking AEW Women's World Champion Willow Nightingale from behind during an interview with Renee Paquette. Mone repeatedly struck Nightingale with her Owen Hart Cup championship belt before leaving her on the floor.
  • Singles Match for the TNT Championship: Kevin Knight (c) defeated Chris Jericho by pinfall to retain after Don Callis struck Jericho with a screwdriver behind the referee's back and Knight later hit Jericho with a low blow followed by the Crash Landing.
  • The Death Riders discussed the unpredictability of the Continental Challenge Cup backstage. Jon Moxley acknowledged that his tournament run and reign as Continental Champion could end against Jack Perry and questioned whether Perry was prepared for him.
  • Kris Statlander defeated Viva Van by pinfall with the Staturday Night Fever.
  • Mick Foley interviewed Statlander after the match and announced that Maya World will defend the TBS Championship against Statlander, Hikaru Shida and Persephone in a four-way match on next week's Dynamite. Shida and Persephone confronted Statlander before Thunder Rosa and Maya World came out, leading directly into the next match.
  • Tag Team Match: TBS Champion Maya World and Thunder Rosa defeated Hikaru Shida and CMLL Women's World Champion Persephone by pinfall after World pinned Shida with a bridging fallaway slam. Statlander joined World and Rosa afterward and raised their hands.
  • Darby Allin addressed TNT Champion Kevin Knight, saying Knight had failed to defeat Chris Jericho the right way. Allin warned Knight about what he would be willing to do when they meet in a Falls Count Anywhere Match for the TNT Championship at All In.
  • Renee Paquette interviewed AEW International Champion Kyle Fletcher, who said he wanted to defend the title at All In. Don Callis revealed Fletcher will defend against both Konosuke Takeshita and Kazuchika Okada in a three-way match. Fletcher was unhappy with the announcement, while Okada said the only thing that mattered was keeping the championship within the Don Callis Family.
  • AEW Continental Challenge Cup First Round Match: Jon Moxley defeated "Jungle" Jack Perry by referee stoppage to advance after Perry became unresponsive in the Bulldog Choke. Moxley and Perry shook hands after the match.
