The latest edition of AEW Dynamite for April 22, 2020 took place at the One Fall Power Factory in Norcross, Georgia.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:

— Darby Allin defeated Sammy Guevara by pinfall to advance in the TNT Championship Tournament

— Matt Hardy had a promo about Chris Jericho. Scorpio Sky was highlighted in a video package about his back injuries and his dedication to keep wrestling and overcome that. MJF also toyed with the idea that he has been out of action due to an injury of a hangnail he suffered while gambling during a previous episode of Dynamite. The Exalted One, Brodie Lee, offered a new recruit a spot in The Dark Order. There was also another edition of The Bubbly Bunch.

— Kenny Omega defeated Alan Angels by pinfall.

— Orange Cassidy defeated Jimmy Havoc by pinfall.

— Wardlow defeated Lee Johnson by pinfall.

— Brodie Lee defeated Justin Law by pinfall.

— Dustin Rhodes defeated Kip Sabian by pinfall.

Next week, Brodie Lee will face Marko Stunt, Cody will face Darby Allin and Dustin Rhodes will face Lance Archer in the two semifinal tournament matches.
