The latest edition of AEW Dynamite for August 26, 2020 took place at Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:

— Tag Team Gauntlet Match: FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler, accompanied by Tully Blanchard) won a tag title opportunity for All Out. At first, The Young Bucks (Nick Jackson and Matt Jackson) defeated The Natural Nightmares (Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall) by pinfall. Then, Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent) defeated The Young Bucks by pinfall when Hangman Adam Page interfered, which set up FTR to beat Best Friends in the third part of the gauntlet.

— Lance Archer defeated Sean Maluta by pinfall.

— Jon Moxley and MJF had a contract signing for their upcoming match at All Out. Moxley agreed to not use the Paradigm Shift, but put it in his contract that he'll fight MJF's lawyer next week.

— Eight-Man Tag Team Match: The Lucha Bros (Pentagon Jr and Rey Fenix), The Butcher and The Blade (with Eddie Kingston) defeated Joey Janela, Sonny Kiss, Griff Garrison and Brian Pillman Jr by pinfall.

— Dark Order had a segment with a casket wherein they "put Cody to rest", essentially. Scorpio Sky, Matt Cardona, QT Marshall and Dustin Rhodes all attacked them as a result.

— 3-on-1 Handicap Match: Big Swole defeated Britt Baker, Reba, and Penelope Ford by pinfall. Baker never once made it into the ring and only sat by ringside in her wheelchair.

— Tables Match: Sammy Guevara defeated Matt Hardy. After the match, Orange Cassidy attacked Chris Jericho to end the show.
