The latest edition of AEW Dynamite for July 1, 2020 took place at the Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:

— Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus) defeated MJF and Wardlow by pinfall.

— Lance Archer and Joey Janela fought outside the ring until they were separated.

— Hikaru Shida defeated Penelope Ford by pinfall to retain the AEW Women's World Championship title.

— Cody defeated Jake Hager by pinfall to retain the AEW TNT Championship title. Jake Hager knocked out the referee after the match in frustration.

— Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) defeated Proud-N-Powerful (Santana and Ortiz of The Inner Circle) by pinfall.

— It was announced Jon Moxley will fight Brian Cage at Fight for the Fallen on July 15, 2020. Taz and Brian Cage talked about how Jon Moxley tested negative for COVID-19 twice, so the delay must mean that he's just scared about how Cage is going to win the championship from him.

— "Hangman" Adam Page and Kenny Omega (c) defeated Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent) to retain the AEW Tag Team Championship titles.
