The latest edition of AEW Dynamite for May 6, 2020 took place at Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:

— Cody defeated Joey Janela by pinfall.

— Nyla Rose defeated Kenzie Page by pinfall.

— MJF cut a promo about how while everybody compares him to legends like Ric Flair, The Rock and Rowdy Roddy Piper, he's a 24-year-old legacy that's something else in his own right.

— There was a video package of Shawn Spears talking about how Cody is going to lose to Lance Archer. After that, Tony Schiavone was ringside, speaking to MJF and Shawn Spears, who complimented each other. Schiavone announced that he just heard from Tony Khan that MJF will face Jungle Boy at Double or Nothing.

Jon Moxley defeated Frankie Kazarian by pinfall. Following the match, Dark Order attacked Moxley and laid out SoCal Uncensored for trying to help, too. Brodie Lee then put out a challenge for the AEW World Championship, which Moxley accepted. That match will happen at Double or Nothing.

Lance Archer defeated QT Marshall by pinfall. Britt Baker then attacked Brandi Rhodes ringside and put Brandi in the ring so that Jake Roberts could put his snake on top of Brandi and taunt her.

Le Sex Gods (Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara) defeated Matt Hardy and Kenny Omega by pinfall in a Falls Count Anywhere match that went throughout Daily's Place.
