The latest edition of AEW Dynamite for October 21, 2020 took place at Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida.

— AEW World Championship No. 1 Contender's Tournament First-Round Match: Wardlow defeated Jungle Boy Jack Perry by pinfall to advance to the next round.

— The next round will be Wardlow against Page and Fenix against Omega with the finals taking place at Full Gear.

— Team Taz cut a promo about Darby Allin and how Ricky Starks plans to put him in the grave the next time they fight.

— Chris Jericho and MJF had their steak dinner, which turned into a musical number.

— Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. defeated KiLynn King by submission.

— The Young Bucks defeated The Butcher and The Blade, Dark Order and Private Party by pinfall to earn a shot at FTR's AEW World Tag Team Championship titles at Full Gear. FTR attacked them to end the show.
