The latest edition of AEW Dynamite for September 16/17, 2020 took place at Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:

— At the start of the show, The Young Bucks superkicked a referee and then tossed some cash to Tony Khan for their fine.

— AEW tag team champions FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) defeated Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus) by pinfall.

— Matt Hardy was attacked backstage, seemingly by Chris Jericho.

— Hangman Adam Page defeated Frankie Kazarian by pinfall.

— MJF defeated Shawn Jean by submission. After the match, MJF cut a promo about how he's an honest man and Jon Moxley cheated at All Out, so MJF should be the uncrowned AEW world champion.

— Eddie Kingston cut a promo and then got his faction to destroy some of the people ringside.

— Chris Jericho and Jake Hager defeated Private Party by pinfall.

— Thunder Rosa defeated Ivelisse by pinfall to retain the NWA Women's Championship. After the match, Diamante attacked Thunder Rosa, but Hikaru Shida helped out.

— Jake Roberts and Taz came to an agreement that Brian Cage and Ricky Starks would team with Lance Archer against Jon Moxley, Will Hobbs and Darby Allin, so long as Cage gets the first title shot when Archer beats Moxley for the AEW World Championship.

— Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent) defeated Proud-N-Powerful (Santana and Ortiz) by pinfall in a Parking Lot Fight match.
