The latest edition of AEW Dynamite for September 2, 2020 took place at Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:

— The Inner Circle's "Proud and Powerful" Santana and Ortiz defeated Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent) by pinfall.

— The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) and Jurassic Express (Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy with Marko Stunt) defeated Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) and SCU (Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian) by pinfall. As a result, The Young Bucks and Jurassic Express will face off at All Out.

— Jake Hager told Orange Cassidy backstage that Chris Jericho wants OC ringside for his match tonight against Joey Janela. Cassidy said nothing, but tried to put his leg up on Hager.

— Kenny Omega was interviewed by Tony Schiavone about his upcoming tag title defense. FTR and Tully Blanchard came out to talk some trash. Hangman Adam Page then entered the fray to back up Omega, but FTR got in his head about how he's always been insecure.

— Chris Jericho defeated Joey Janela by submission. Post-match, Jake Hager and Jericho beat down on Janela and Sonny Kiss. Orange Cassidy ran them off and poured some of the bubbly out with a thumbs down.

— Matt Hardy attacked Sammy Guevara during the commercial break.

— Jake Roberts and Lance Archer interrupted a Team Taz promo to say Taz's group is a bunch of squirrels trying to bust a nut. (Wow) Eddie Kingston's crew then interrupted. Tully Blanchard and Shawn Spears also came out to oversee all the chaos. Billy Gunn joined the fight, as did Darby Allin (who went straight to Ricky Starks). Some others like Serpentico who were ringside brawled, too. Jake Hager, Santana, Ortiz, Trent and Chuck Taylor followed suit.

— Thunder Rosa defeated Serena Deeb by pinfall.

— Big Swole spoke to Tony Schiavone about how she's going to fight Britt Baker "tooth and nail" this Saturday during the Buy In. Reba showed up with a pizza for Schiavone as a distraction, which allowed Baker to attack Swole from behind.

— Jon Moxley defeated MJF's lawyer Mark Sterling by pinfall. After the match, Wardlow and MJF attacked Moxley.
