Preview & Predictions for AEW Dynamite:
On tap for tonight's episode, six matches have implications for the upcoming Blood & Guts battles. The way this will work is that for the men's and women's teams, there will be two matches of members within those teams. If one team wins both matches, they receive the advantage for Blood & Guts. If it is 1-1, a third match will take place to settle the tiebreaker in two matches for Collision.
The first two men's matches are Orange Cassidy against Claudio Castagnoli and Darby Allin against Daniel Garcia. If needed, Jon Moxley fights Roderick Strong. For the women, match #1 is Queen Aminata against Megan Bayne, match #2 is Jamie Hayter against Skye Blue, and the tiebreaker match #3 is Thekla versus Harley Cameron.
On top of that, there is a trios match with "Hangman" Adam Page, Eddie Kingston and Hook against The Opps, as well as a quarterfinals match in the AEW Women's World Tag Team Championship tournament with Mercedes Mone and Athena against Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale.
My guess is Willow and Harley win the tag match, but Cameron loses to Thekla, after Hayter beats Blue and Bayne beats Aminata. On the men's side, I'd say Claudio beats Cassidy, Allin beats Garcia, and Moxley beats Strong. The Opps likely beat Page, Hook, and Kingston, to ensure Samoa Joe looks strong, unless Katsuyori Shibata takes a pin from Hangman.
Here are your results for AEW Dynamite - November 5, 2025:
- The show opened with Samoa Joe intimidating Tony Schiavone after he humiliated him last week with "Hangman" Adam Page, who came out, but they were separated by security. Eventually, Eddie Kingston and Hook came out for backup, and the trios match for later is now for the trios titles.
- Claudio Castagnoli defeated Orange Cassidy by pinfall.
- Renee Paquette interviewed Mark Briscoe, Kyle Fletcher, and Don Callis. Briscoe wants a response from Fletcher about his challenge for another title shot. Callis wants a stipulation that if Briscoe loses at Full Gear, he has to join The Don Callis Family.
- The Don Callis Family was also part of an interview to highlight the Million Dollar Trios match, with The Young Bucks being asked if they're joining the faction by accepting that match. Nothing actually got accomplished here and it was an awkwardly structured say-nothing type "interview" segment.
- AEW Women's World Tag Team Championship Tournament Quarterfinals Match: The Babes of Wrath (Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale) defeated Athena and Mercedes Mone by pinfall due in part to Kris Statlander helping to offset interference from Billie Starkz.
- Tony Schiavone talked more about the AEW National Championship. Two of the people competing for the belt will be Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin. Ricochet interrupted and talked some trash, as he's in the Casino Gauntlet match as well.
- Darby Allin defeated Daniel Garcia by submission. Post-match, a brawl erupted, with The Death Riders coming out on top.
- FTR had a promo where they belittled Bandido's grandmother, while Brodido were locked in their dressing room. Gravity eventually went after them, coming up short until Brodido broke out of the room and helped him out.
- Megan Bayne defeated Mina Shirakawa by pinfall.
- AEW World Trios Championship Match: The Opps (Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata, and Powerhouse Hobbs) defeated "Hangman" Adam Page, Eddie Kingston and Hook by submission to retain when Hobbs made Hook tap out.
