Preview & Predictions for AEW Dynamite:
On tap for tonight's episode, the bracket will be revealed for the upcoming tournament to crown the inaugural title-holders for the AEW Women's World Tag Team Championship belts. No teams have been announced at all in any confirmed fashion yet, so it will be interesting to see who is even involved. Teams like MegaBad should be expected, as well as "Timeless" Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa, but it still even't even known if there will be four, eight, or even sixteen teams.
There will also be two title matches as The Opps defend the AEW World Trios Championships against The Hurt Syndicate (who defeated The Demand at AEW WrestleDream for the opportunity) as well as Kazuchika Okada defending the AEW Unified Championship against the ROH World Champion and one-half of the AEW World Tag Team Champions, Bandido.
I don't think either title is changing hands, but The Hurt Syndicate could potentially win if "Hangman" Adam Page costs Samoa Joe to get back at him for the beat-down from WrestleDream. We'll also see some natural fallout from that event, such as build toward AEW Full Gear between Kris Statlander and Mercedes Mone, the developing story of Kenny Omega and Jack Perry patching things up while The Young Bucks tease a potential babyface turn, Darby Allin's victory over Jon Moxley in their I Quit match main event, and more, as well as I'm sure other matches on the card that haven't been announced yet as of this publication.
Stay tuned and keep refreshing for the most up to date results.
Here are your results for AEW Dynamite - October 22, 2025:
- AEW World Trios Championship Match: The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Katsuyori Shibata) retained over The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley, MVP, and Shelton Benjamin) by submission. After the match, Samoa Joe cut a promo on how he'll keep coming after Adam Page.
- Interview: Kris Statlander hyped up how she'll beat Mercedes Mone at Full Gear.
- Darby Allin is willing to go places for AEW that no one else will go, including dying for it. He also warns Jon Moxley that as long as The Death Riders are doing their thing, he won't be far behind.
- Four-Way Tag Team Match: Jamie Hayter & Queen Aminata defeated Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford, Harley Cameron & Willow Nightingale, and Skye Blue & Julia Hart by pinfall on Ford to earn the right to choose their first-round opponents in the tournament for the women's tag titles. They've picked Hart and Blue.
- The Young Bucks were banging on Tony Khan's office again because they want another big money match. Since they said they would both team with and fight anyone, Khan booked them against JetSpeed and Jurassic Express for $400k. Their tag team partners will be FTR. That will take place at Collision (which will be recorded after Dynamite).
- Mercedes Mone's 12 belts celebration was derailed with Harley Cameron making fun of her with her puppet. Mone shoves the puppet's face into the cake and was about to hurt Cameron, when Kris Statlander came into the ring and slammed Mone through the table (and the cake).
- Kyle O'Reilly defeated Jon Moxley by disqualification when he knocked out the referee in order to avoid tapping out.
- Trios Match: Roderick Strong & The Conglomeration (Mark Briscoe and Orange Cassidy) defeated Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta) by pinfall. Immediately after the bell, PAC went on the attack. Tomohiro Ishii fought back until Marina Shafir low-blowed him. Darby Allin ultimately helped The Conglomeration fight them off.
- Athena told Mercedes Mone that the smashed cake on her face is her best look yet and to suggest they team up to win the women's tag titles.
- Mark Briscoe wants one more shot at Kyle Fletcher, but was rejected
- Thekla interrupted Mina Shirakawa's interview, setting up a Collision match.
- AEW Unified Championship: Kazuchika Okada (c) defeated Bandido by pinfall.
