On tap for tonight's episode, AEW World Champion Will Ospreay teams with United Empire members Andrade El Idolo and Francesco Akira against Jon Moxley, PAC and Gabe Kidd of the Death Riders ahead of Ospreay's World Championship defense against Moxley at All Out; and Chris Jericho battles Nick Wayne.
Andrade being part of United Empire sure feels weird outside of the idea of just having him interact with Ospreay ahead of their inevitable future clash for the title. As such, I expect that relationship to flourish and fall apart over time with peaks and valleys. Do they lose here because Akira can take the pin? I could see that happening so Jon Moxley scores a win over Ospreay ahead of All Out. You want the challenger to look like he's going to win, after all. Of course, Tony Khan doesn't need to tell that story. If he's going for a situation of Ospreay wanting to prove himself to overcome Moxley, having Ospreay or Andrade pin PAC or Gabe Kidd doesn't solve that problem and make their match pointless by any means.
The Chris Jericho and Nick Wayne thing should go to Wayne. He's the younger star who will actually get something out of the victory. Jericho is decades past "needing this" by any means. Of course, that doesn't mean it is a guarantee Jericho loses. There's also the story of "veteran beats younger star to prove that there's still much to learn" and Wayne works his way up to beating Jericho on a bigger platform in a bigger match. Hopefully, at least by the end of this rivalry, the story plays out with Wayne coming out looking better than the track record of AEW's Jericho feuds have gone for his opponents he's supposedly been putting over. Ask how many times Daniel Garcia and Sammy Guevara were involved with Jericho and where their spots on the hierarchy have been.

- Adam Copeland, Christian Cage, Darby Allin and Steven Borden spoke with Renee Paquette before the opening match. The lingering tension between Allin and Cage remained obvious, with Allin reminding Cage that their issues are not over despite teaming together for the night.
- Eight-Man Tag Team Match: Adam Copeland, Christian Cage, Darby Allin and Steven Borden defeated FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler), Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight by pinfall. Christian took advantage of the referee being distracted to strike Harwood with a chair. Copeland later Speared Knight before Allin and Borden combined a Coffin Drop with the Scorpion Death Drop on Harwood for the victory. Christian posed afterward with his tag team championship and Allin's TNT Championship, but Allin quickly took his belt back.
- Jon Moxley spoke about his approaching AEW World Championship match with Will Ospreay and said he never wanted Ospreay to follow him, but to lead. Gabe Kidd wanted to eliminate Ospreay before All Out, while PAC made it clear they had no intention of letting the champion escape what was coming.
- Singles Match: Chris Jericho defeated Nick Wayne by pinfall. Wayne connected with Wayne's World but could not finish Jericho. Jericho later ripped off Wayne's puka shell necklace, leaving Wayne furious and distracted long enough for Jericho to roll him up for the victory. Jericho offered Wayne a handshake afterward, but Wayne responded by attacking him, delivering a low blow and repeatedly striking him with a steel chair.
- AEW announced that Women's World Champion Mercedes Mone has not been medically cleared to compete at All Out due to her broken nose. Willow Nightingale will instead face Thekla at the pay-per-view, with the winner earning a championship match against Mone at WrestleDream on October 17.
- Will Ospreay acknowledged some awkwardness surrounding Andrade El Idolo's addition to United Empire, particularly because Andrade holds a future AEW World Championship opportunity. Andrade insisted that they were partners for the night, while Francesco Akira bluntly promised that the group would take the fight directly to the Death Riders.
- AEW World Trios Championship No. 1 Contender Match: "Hangman" Adam Page and Brodido (Bandido and Brody King) defeated The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Kyle O'Reilly and Roderick Strong) by pinfall. Strong and Page traded offense late in the match before Page caught Strong with the Buckshot Lariat for the deciding fall. Page, Bandido and King will challenge Swerve Strickland and The New Level for the AEW World Trios Championship at All Out.
- Singles Match: Tommaso Ciampa defeated Myles Hawkins by pinfall. Ciampa blasted Hawkins with a running knee almost immediately and ended the match in under a minute. Ciampa had already used his entrance to call out AEW International Champion Kazuchika Okada for a match at All Out.
- Swerve Strickland and AEW World Trios Champions The New Level were ambushed by The Demand before they could conduct an in-ring interview. Ricochet, Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona overwhelmed the champions and posed with their title belts after leaving the trio down.
- Jack Perry reflected on his previous losses to former AEW World Champions and said each defeat has taught him something as he continues pursuing the World Championship. Perry then directly called out Samoa Joe and challenged him to return and teach him something, revealing the words "Joe is Gonna Kill You" painted behind him.
- Singles Match: Lena Kross defeated Jamie Hayter by pinfall. Megan Bayne distracted the referee during the closing stretch, allowing Kross to grab a metal pipe and strike Hayter with it. Kross followed with a Jackhammer for the victory. Alex Windsor came out afterward armed with part of a table and forced Divine Dominion to retreat ahead of their Chicago Street Fight at All Out.
- A video package focused on Andrade El Idolo's family history in professional wrestling and his belief that becoming a world champion is his destiny. AEW also announced that Andrade will defend the National Championship against Daniel Garcia on Collision.
- Kazuchika Okada accepted Tommaso Ciampa's challenge for an International Championship match at All Out while insulting Ciampa in the process. Ciampa immediately attacked Okada from behind with a running knee and said he wanted "The Psycho Killer" against "The Rainmaker."
- Trios Match: Death Riders (Jon Moxley and PAC) and Gabe Kidd defeated AEW World Champion Will Ospreay, AEW National Champion Andrade El Idolo and Francesco Akira by submission. Ospreay and Moxley eventually came face-to-face during a chaotic closing sequence, while Akira tagged himself in and nearly caught Moxley by surprise. Moxley responded with two Paradigm Shifts and the Death Rider before trapping Akira in the Bulldog Choke. Akira submitted while PAC and Kidd simultaneously restrained Andrade and Ospreay on the floor.
- Moxley refused to release the Bulldog Choke after the match, prompting another fight. Clark Connors and David Finlay joined Kidd, PAC and the Death Riders in overwhelming United Empire. Kidd placed a chair around Akira's neck and appeared ready to seriously injure him until Ospreay broke free and rushed back into the ring to make the save, ending Dynamite with Ospreay protecting Akira ahead of his championship showdown with Moxley at All Out.
