Preview & Predictions for AEW Dynamite:
On tap for tonight's episode, a Trios Match is set to go down between The Don Callis Family's Hechicero, Kazuchika Okada, and Konosuke Takeshita against three members of The Conglomeration. Mark Briscoe and Hologram are confirmed, but the third participant is being left as a mystery. It was heavily suggested on AEW All Out that this will be the return of Orange Cassidy, as Kyle O'Reilly said that he was on the phone with the wrestler who said "whatever" about taking part in it. Cassidy has been on the shelf for half the year with a torn labrum, with his last match taking place March 19th when he wrestled alongside Mark Davis, Ricochet, and "Speedball" Mike Bailey.
The other thing announced for this show is actually an announcement. Deliberately also kept a mystery, this has been advertised as simply "Tony Khan has an important announcement". This could mean almost anything from announcing women's tag team titles, a women's Blood & Guts match, a new pay-per-view, a partnership with something like CMLL or another company, or even the signing of a new member of the roster. My guess is it will be one of the first two.
Kris Statlander will already have her first defense of the AEW Women's World Championship as she's set to battle the interim ROH Women's World Television Champion Mina Shirakawa.
We can also expect the fallout from AEW All Out, such as an update on Jon Moxley's condition after being set on fire, ideas on who will challenge next for some different titles, the return of Jurassic Express now that "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry and Luchasaurus are back together as a tag team and they've ditched their Scapegoat and Killswitch personas and so forth. Stay tuned for updates on this lineup!
Here are your results for AEW Dynamite - September 24, 2025:
- Brodido retained the AEW World Tag Team Championship over GOA by pinfall.
- Backstage, Mark Briscoe and The Conglomeration teased some more that Orange Cassidy would be returning to be the third man in their trios match.
- Renee Paquette interviewed Kris Statlander and Harley Cameron. Stat didn't respond about the question asking her association with The Death Riders.
- "Hangman" Adam Page retained the AEW Men's World Championship over ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty by pinfall.
- Due to FTR and The Matriarchy taking out Beth Copeland at All Out, Adam Copeland told Christian Cage that he has to go take care of his family. Cage said he doesn't have one anymore and told Copeland to go do what he has to do. Copeland then reminded him that he does have family (himself) and it seems they're taking some time off for a bit.
- FTR cut a promo about what they did to Beth and took no accountability. Willow Nightingale interrupted to praise Beth for her inspiration on her career and say that she and women like her are the reason why people like Willow don't take shit from guys like FTR, eventually slapping Stokely Hathaway. JetSpeed came out to back her up and FTR retreated.
- After his match at All Out, MJF had a promo about how he's "playing the caricature of MJF" since losing his title. He can't come back until he looks into the mirror and no longer sees a fraud. When he comes back, he'll be the most dangerous he's ever been and he's going to be back on top whether you like it or not.
- Orange Cassidy returned, spoiling Don Callis trying to show off his masterpiece artwork.
- The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Mark Briscoe, and Hologram) defeated The Don Callis Family (Kazuchika Okada, Konosuke Takeshita, and Hechicero) by pinfall. Kyle Fletcher issued a challenge to Hologram, who is undefeated, to face him for the TNT Championship next week.
- Claudio Castagnoli defeated Powerhouse Hobbs by pinfall with some help from The Death Riders. Adam Page and Samoa Joe helped make the save to fight off PAC, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia and Castagnoli.
- Tony Khan's important announcement was unveiling women's world tag team titles, which will be settled "soon".
- AEW Women's World Championship Match: Kris Statlander defeated Mina Shirakawa to retain in her first title defense. After the match, The Death Riders came out and Statlander took out Wheeler Yuta, flipped off Jon Moxley, and ran off with Harley Cameron. Darby Allin then came out with a flamethrower to threaten The Death Riders and send them into a retreat. Allin challenged Moxley to an I Quit match for WrestleDream.
