Preview & Predictions for AEW Dynamite Winter is Coming:
On tap for tonight's episode, one of the big hooks for Winter is Coming is that it will host the finals of the tournament to crown the inaugural AEW Women's World Tag Team Championship. Either The Timeless Love Bombs or The Babes of Wrath will walk out as the first-ever champions, and while both teams are fan favorites, only one pair can hold the titles. There's nothing necessarily swaying me one way or another in my prediction, to be honest. I can see a scenario where both could win. Babes of Wrath are the underdogs, but giving these titles to Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale will get a pop. So does Tony Khan want to put the belts on Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa for the star power of Storm, or not? That's the real question. I'm leaning toward Babes of Wrath, but that could just be my hopeful side.
The other title bout, Samoa Joe against Eddie Kingston, does in fact have a guaranteed outcome. There is simply no chance whatsoever that Kingston walks out with the title. He's a sacrificial lamb on the way toward a more important match like Joe against Page or Strickland at Worlds End.
Page and Strickland will undoubtedly beat Will Hobbs and Katsuyori Shibata in their tag team match, and I'm surprised we don't see more action being advertised with the Continental Classic, but I'm sure that will happen in some fashion.
